School Counselor

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The School Counselor role at Sambhavya is a critical position that plays a significant role in promoting mental health in schools. As a School Counselor, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive mental health services to students, including individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, etc.

REQUIREMENT AND SKILLS:

MA Psychology/Master in Counseling Psychology completed.
At least 1 year experience.
Experience working with students in a counseling or educational setting
The candidate must have a passion towards people, able to listen empathetically and be patient while dealing with adverse situation.
The candidate must have excellent communication skills and be open to accept responsibilities while working in a team.

Responsibilities:

Conducting individual and group counseling sessions
Providing related intervention
Developing and implementing school-wide programs to support student well-being
Collaborating with teachers and parents to support student success
Participating in school-wide initiatives and events
Conducting classroom workshops and awareness sessions

Office and School Days: 6 days (Sunday-Friday), 8 hours

Salary: NPR 25,000-35,000
