School Mental Health Educator

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The School Mental Health Educator role at Sambhavya is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are interested in promoting mental well-being in schools. As a School Mental Health Educator, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced mental health professionals and work in promoting Social-Emotional Well-Being.

REQUIREMENT AND SKILLS:

Bachelor’s Degree Completed, Major in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, mental health or related field
At least 1 year experience in teaching, conducting awareness program or relevant field.
The candidate must have a passion towards working with children and adolescents, able to listen empathetically and be patient while dealing with adverse situations
The candidate must have proper communication skills and be open to accept responsibilities while working in a team
Flexibility to work in different school settings and adapt to changing priorities.
Willingness to learn and take on new challenge
Passion for promoting mental health and wellbeing in schools

Responsibilities

Assisting in the implementation of mental health education programs in schools.
Conducting mental health assessments and observation of students and providing recommendations for support.
Providing support to school counselors and mental health professionals.
Participating in the development and implementation of mental health education initiatives.
Maintaining accurate records of work with students and mental health interventions.
Adapting to the needs of different schools and student populations.
Staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in school mental health.

KEY DETAILS:

Office Days: 6 days (Sunday-Friday), 8 hours

Salary: 20,000-30,000
