Counseling Psychologist/School Counselor

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The School Counselor/Psychologist role at Sambhavya Foundation is a critical position that plays a significant role in promoting mental health in schools. As a School Counselor/Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive mental health services to students, including individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, etc.

REQUIREMENT AND SKILLS:

  • MA Psychology/Master in Counseling Psychology completed.
  • At least 1 year  experience. Fresher with training and internship experience can apply
  • Experience working with students in a counseling or educational setting
  • The candidate must have a passion towards people, able to listen empathetically and be patient while dealing with adverse situations
  • The candidate must be willing to travel inside Kathmandu Valley.
  • The candidate must have proper communication skills and be open to accept responsibilities while working in a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting individual and group counseling sessions
  • Providing related intervention
  • Developing and implementing school-wide programs to support student well-being
  • Collaborating with teachers and parents to support student success
  • Participating in school-wide initiatives and events
  • Conducting classroom workshops and awareness sessions

Type:Full Time

Term:1 year, THe selected candidate must go through intense training period
