Sambhavay Foundation has been recognizing itself as a pioneering organization in promoting school mental health. It is majorly concerned with mental health awareness and psycho-social well being directly among school going students. Further to achieve its goals, Sambhavya Foundation has initiated a long term “School Mental Health and Counseling Program” to promote mental health awareness and psycho-social well being in Nepal. To date, with your support, the program has been successfully conducted to 16 schools throughout Kathmandu Valley, Sindhupalchowk and Balgung districts. Besides, Sambhavya Foundation has successfully reached out to more than 5,00 individuals providing mental health and counseling services along with mental health orientation program in Kavrepalanchok and Gulmi district too.
The mental health in children and adolescent has been adversely affected due to COVID-19 and lockdown. As per the experts, the mental health problem is expected to rise post-COVID. In order to ease this situation and promote school mental health in Nepal, your support plays a vital role to carry our free mental health and counseling programs in government schools all around Nepal.
Sambhavya Foundation envisions mental health awareness and counseling services reaching each and every individuals in Nepal. We visualize the reach of Mental Health awareness in all 77 districts.
Our mission “One School, One School Mental Health Counselor” imagines at least one counselor in each of the 35,000 schools. Our effort is to actively support the Government of Nepal in delivering mental health services, infrastructures, and awareness to the people of this country.
