POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a dedicated and self-motivated individuals to plan and implement our School Mental Health Program in schools of Rupandehi districts. This position supports the promotion of school mental health program and services of Sambhavya Foundation through outreach, assessment and delivery.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Delivering School Mental Health Program and providing counseling services using his/her competencies and professional knowledge in respective assigned schools;
  • Working with students in individual, small group and classroom settings;
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents and school administration/management to ensure school mental health and counseling program meet school’s goals;
  • Coordinating with other team members for overall success and delivery of the program;
  • Assisting in modification of School Mental Health and Counseling Program’s framework;
  • Timely reporting to the concerned personnel/department;
  • Submitting reports on a regular basis to the stakeholder of the school;
  • Performing other related work as required.

 

REQUIREMENT AND SKILLS:

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Counseling Psychology/school counseling completed, Master’s in Psychology/Counseling Psychology completed will be given priority;
  • Minimum 6 months experience in the field of psychosocial counseling, Freshers can apply;
  • Professional working knowledge of counseling and mental health;
  • The candidate must have a passion towards people, be able to listen empathetically and be patient while dealing with adverse situation;
  • The candidate must be willing to travel and temporarily relocate to Butwal, local residents will be given preference;
  • The candidate must have proper communication skills and be open to accepting responsibilities while working in a team;
  • Creative and innovative enough to discuss and bring new ideas to the counselors’ team;
  • The candidate must be enthusiastic towards working with children and adolescents;
  • You want to be a part of something great that positively impacts society.

Salary: NRs. 25,000-35,000 + Accommodation. Other benefits according to organizational policy.
