Wellness for All: Promoting Emotional Well-Being and Resilience in Nepal’s Schools

A Community-Driven Initiative
Introduced in 2024, Project Wellness for All addresses the rising mental health challenges among Nepal’s children and adolescent by making care accessible, relatable, and sustainable through education and integrated services.

Integrated program for Holistic Growth

Our program integrates Mental Health Literacy, Life Skills education, Social Emotional Learning (SEL), Digital Citizenship, and Comprehensive Sexual and Reproductive Health Education (CSRE). Along with education, we offer mental health screening camps, counseling, and referral services supported by a multidisciplinary team.

Overcoming Barriers with Local Solutions

While essential psychotropic medications are approved by the government, supply shortages and lack of trained professionals in community health posts prevent consistent care. Our initiative builds local capacity through training and advocacy to bridge this gap.

Building Resilient, Stigma-Free Communities

Mental health stigma and low awareness often isolate those in need. Wellness for All focuses on raising awareness, empowering students and families, and embedding emotional support within schools to create healthier, supportive and resilient learning environment for academic and personal success.
