“Empowering youth to break the silence, lead communities, and champion mental well-being across Nepal”

Sambhavya Youth Council (SYC) believes that today’s youth are the leaders of tomorrow. Young people aged 18 to 28 are coming together to bring real change in the mental health scene of Nepal. Formed in 2022 and revived in 2025, SYC has already made an inspiring impact through its presence in Mental Health at Open Space 2022 and other youth mental health events, while contributing to various initiatives of the Sambhavya Foundation. SYC empowers youth to speak up, take initiative, and lead meaningful conversations so that children, adolescents, and young people can openly talk about their mental health. Through unity and leadership, SYC is building a future where mental well being is understood and valued.

ABOUT SAMBHAVYA YOUTH COUNCIL (SYC)

Sambhavya Youth Council is the official youth wing of the Sambhavya Foundation dedicated to creating a mentally healthy and emotionally resilient Nepal. It brings together passionate young people between 18 and 28 years who want to advocate for mental health, support communities, and build leadership skills.
