Sambhavya_L2S Scholarship Project for Mental Health Advocates
1. Scholarship Cohort 2024–2025: Our First Year of Impact
The academic year 2024–2025 marked the launch of the first cohort of the Sambhavya_L2S Scholarship Program; our joint initiative with Letters to Strangers, USA to support aspiring psychology and Mental Health Professionals in Nepal.
Three outstanding awardees were selected for the inaugural year:

These scholars are not only pursuing their Master’s degree in Psychology with full financial support but have also been placed in Sambhavya’s structured traineeship program, where they are gaining hands-on experience in school and community mental health. In addition, they have received access to a research grant, enabling them to explore meaningful topics that contribute to Nepal’s mental health landscape.
Our first cohort has set a strong foundation, demonstrating commitment, leadership, and the spirit of service that this scholarship aims to nurture.
2. Scholarship Cohort 2025–2026: Applications Now Open
Building on last year’s success, the Sambhavya_L2S Scholarship Program 2025–2026 (2082/2083) is now open for applications.
This second cohort aims to support passionate students who are pursuing their Master’s degree in Psychology in Nepal and are committed to advancing mental health awareness, resilience, and emotional well-being in schools and communities.
